Château Saint Robert Poncet-Deville 2012
Notes of blackberry and black cherry show through the bouquet. The tannins are silky, coated with great finesse. The finish with black fruit aromas (blackberry, blackcurrant) is long and spicy.

A vintage full of finesse
"Think of dishes in sauce such as beef bourguignon or goulash to accompany this wine. A delight!"

Vintage 2012
2012 was a rainy year with a high risk of late blight development. However, the soils were able to absorb enough water to avoid stagnant humidity, which is conducive to this fungus. The vine's vegetative cycle was late which also delayed the harvest. The end of the sunny summer allowed the berries to acquire beautiful aromas, resulting in a good vintage.
