Château Bastor Lamontagne 2009

Château Bastor-Lamontagne 2009 is characterized by an intense golden yellow color. The sublime nose is full of finesse, purity and vivacity. It offers a fruity bouquet with aromas of sweet spices, pineapple, orange blossom and mead. On the palate, the wine is rich, deep, full-bodied, silky and lacey, with pure fruit and a sappy substance. The palate reveals a beautiful flavor of white fruit "compote", with a note of pear, enhanced by a delicate peppery character. The wine, pure and elegant, has a power harmoniously balanced by a beautiful acidity.

L’avis de notre expert

Great vintage

"2009 was a perfect year throughout the season, grapes ripened and exceptional botrytis during the harvest. Vintage with very good ageing potential."

Vintage 2009

In 2009 the noble rot settled and developed on the vines without any problems. This perfect proliferation allowed us to harvest ripe berries with different degrees of rot during the harvest, allowing us to diversify the aromas. In conclusion, this perfect year in the vineyard gave an exceptional vintage!

Le Château

Often described as "modern Sauternes", Château Bastor-Lamontagne favours freshness and harmony. Less concentrated than some of its peers, it is a "relaxed" Sauternes as an aperitif and at the beginning of a meal that keeps all its capacity for aging thanks to its beautiful freshness.
