L’avis de notre expert
"Do not hesitate to open this vintage now, it will be the perfect accompaniment to your stewed dishes or a nice piece of meat"'.
While the spring was hot and allowed the vines to develop well, the summer was wet and care had to be taken to ensure that no disease disrupted the cycle. Finally, in September the weather was milder, allowing the berries to ripen without any problems. After years of poor weather, the 2014 vintage is proving to be a good year in terms of both quality and quantity.
Beautiful dark garnet colour.
The nose is intense, with notes of black fruit (black cherry...) and mocha.
On the palate, the attack is fresh, firm and fruity. The tannins are fiery, but the roundness of the fruit is combined with a beautiful spicy finish. Nice substance for this very promising wine.
