L’avis de notre expert

A very promising vintage

"A vintage full of promise, a few years of ageing will allow it to become sublime"

Pietro Pastore

2019 vintage

The crop year for the 2019 vintage was characterised by a very wet and relatively mild start to the year for the season. The frost in April did not affect the vineyard of Château Saint-Robert. The good management of the grass cover, the leaf surface and the thinning out of the leaves allowed the vine to maintain a normal vigour and to pass this hot period in the best conditions.

Beautiful garnet colour with purplish highlights

On the nose, aromas of red fruits

The castle

Château Saint-Robert is located in Pujols-sur-Ciron, 45km from Bordeaux. The Ciron, which flows a few kilometres from the property, favours the formation of morning mists in autumn. The estate is located near the prestigious Classified Growths of Barsac (Château Climens and Château Coutet), and not far from the Grands Crus of Pessac Léognan.
